We are students of Oregon State University. We are united by values, social responsibility, heritage and the desire to improve the equality of all people through the universality of science and technology. We strive in our professional pursuits, exemplify leadership, and seek merit in education. The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at OSU (OSU SHPE) obtains excellence through integrity, empowerment through achievement, and improves through diversification.

Due to our outstanding community involvement, professional development, and academic development events, we were selected to host the Regional Leadership Development Conference (RLDC) for Region 1 in Spring 2016.

RLDC is geared towards teaching SHPE members how to improve their organizational, managerial, and technical skills. It consists of workshops instructed by lead engineers and corporate representatives and motivational speakers. All who attend, corporate sponsors included, have the opportunity to showcase their skills and learn.
The conference provides a unique opportunity to recruit diverse talent through hospitality suites or career fairs for all sponsoring companies.
Whether it’s learning to write a resume or learning about opportunities to reach out to the community, everyone who attends this conference will learn something. This is a promise we can make, however it is up to you to take the next step and become a corporate sponsor. The main message to take with you is this: SHPE changes lives. We educate. We mentor. We develop. We will do all of these things at the RLDC and hope you will help.

On behalf of OSU SHPE, thank you for taking time to review our sponsorship packet and we hope to see you in Corvallis, OR for the Region 1 RLDC in April 2016.

Warmest Regards,
