SHPE Oregon was founded in 2016 by a group of enthusiastic Hispanic Intel employees. They kept the board leadership until 2018 while creating an inclusive chapter for new generation of professional engineers. In 2019, Engineers from diverse companies took various leadership roles on the board while these amazing Intel pioneers have remained involved as advisors for the chapter.
