Carolina Guillen graduated from Oregon State University in 2020 with a B.S. in Bioengineering. As a validation engineer, Carolina is responsible for providing scientific and technical support to the PLANT Value Stream in support of product launches, technology transfers, and new technology introduction to the HTO site. As the VP of Community Outreach of SHPE Oregon, Carolina will work closely with the SHPE Oregon board to bring STEM related activities, and opportunities to K-12 students hosted by the chapter. Carolina loves to dance, travel, try new things, volunteer in her community, and spend quality time with her dog; Bonno. When she’s not working, she’s spending time on the dance floor, the gym, hiking, or catching up with friends and family.
