For every hour you invest in our chapter, your company could donate money to the chapter!
Most companies match almost all volunteering time and submit a donation on your behalf for your time invested in non-profits. For example, Intel matches $10 for every hour you volunteer with an organization!
Find your company’s volunteering platform (e.g. Benevity, YourCause) and track every single hour you invest in SHPE Oregon. This can be for in-person volunteering, attending community events (like Dia de Muertos, Dia del Niño), or any knowledge sharing you offer to the chapter. A good rule of thumb is to set a reminder each quarter to submit your volunteer hours in bulk.
